If its Dangerous Andy is ALL FOR IT!

Ella in her swimming gear

Hi Everyone (Sue Here),

I know it has been awhile since I have emailed, but life has gotten way more busy here since I started working. I am working about 20 hours a week. Most of it is from 5:00-8:00 at night and days on Monday and Wednesday when Ella is at school. I am loving the coaching in the evenings. I coach 3 different squads hence I have gotten to know a lot of kids. My day job is swim lessons which is actually more challenging because all of my lessons are 3 and 4 year olders that are learning to swim for the first time. Ella just started swim lessons at the swim school I work at and she is so good. She is the youngest in her class and they can not keep her above the water she just wants to dive under and go. Danny's evenings consist of taking and picking up kids from their various activities since I am at work. Maddi had a cut on her knee that would not heal and she got a bad infection in her knee. She is on major antibiotics and it is finally getting better. We are watching it very closely as it can be serious if not healed. I think Kinsey dealt with something like this with her toe if memory serves me correctly. She is swimming well and looking forward to her big national meet in March. Andy is still loving boogie boarding. If you get on our web site there is a link to you tube of a movie he made by himself of all of his boarding. It is really good. We got him drum lessons. The boy loves the drums and our little church here has a drum set that they let him practice on. His goal is to make the school rock band as the drummer. The guy who instructs this band loves Andy. He lives down the street from us, and he has a drum set that he lets Andy use as well. His son is one of Andy's best friends here. Ella is swimming, going to school, and still refusing to poop on the potty God help me. I have tried everything. She is one strong willed, stubborn child on this matter. Other than that glitch she is very happy here and enjoying the ocean a lot. We went to Tauranga this weekend for Waitanigi Day which is New Zealand National Holiday like our 4th of July. We stayed in a motel with a thermal bath in the backyard. Ella loved it but it was too hot for here to stick her head underwater which took great self control on her part. Andy and Danny did a lot of boogie boarding. Maddi and I laid out, and Ella did some duck diving...we will send a video soon.

Our routine is to still to go do something fun every Saturday. We want to see everything we can while we are here. Danny is going to update the blog soon with all of our recent pictures. The next few weekends I am at swim meets with my kids so I won't be able to go have the fun with the family. Danny's Dad and Joy get here in a week and will be here for 2 months. We are looking forward to the company. I love you all and miss you all very much.

Love,

Suzy
