My dad and Joy have been here since February 13th and we have thoroughly enjoyed having them! Last week we went to Wellington to watch Maddi in the New Zealand National Age Group Meet. Maddi did fantastically! She finished in the Top Ten in the Nation in the 100 (1:12.4) and 200 back (2:35). It was a great honor for Maddi to be able to participate in such a high profile meet, and it was fun for us to go down and watch her. Maddi also swam the 400 free (5:05) and200 free (2:23)
We celebrated Andy's birthday in Wellington. Andy went surfing for the first time in Lyall Bay! When we got back, I took Andy and three of his friends to Goat Island and Pakiri Beach.
