FIRST DAY!

Hello Everyone!

Today was a day of firsts! It was my first day of work at OPUS. It was Andy's first day of school at Belmont Primary School (he even is wearing a uniform)! Maddi had numerous interviews today and will start her first day tomorrow at Takapuna Grammar School. She has a uniform as well. A blouse and skirt with a jumper (kiwi for sweater). Sue is frantically trying to find a preschool for Ella. Many of the Kindi's are booked until December so hopefully she can find something. I have to apologize to anyone that has tryed to call. I gave you all the wrong number before...our actual number is 064 09 445 6277 (not 9277). Thanks for catching that DAD! My work number is 064 09 355 9269 Direct and 355 9500 (company wide). I am currently reading up on the Auckland City Stormwater Standards (exciting stuff). Sue gave me a ride to work today after we dropped off Andy at school and went to Maddi's interviews. Tomorrow I will give the ferry a go, and see how I do... It is cool and rainy here. We heard that Loveland pass had snow...can't believe it! We miss you all, even Bill! We went to Piha beach on Saturday it was amazing! It looked like is was cut out of a fairy tale or a movie. Unbelieveable scenery! Sunday we went to Puhio, a quaint Bohemian village with the manager of the Environmental Group for OPUS, Matt Thomson and his wife and kids. Everyone is so nice and accomodating. The Thomsons live right down the street from us and Mary (Matt's wife) will be a great resource for Sue as they have a 2 and 5-year old. We will hopefully have internet tonight so Sue can send out a message.
