Hi All,
Maddi had her big meet this weekend. It is called Auckland Championships and she got
quite favor of international swimming. There were teams from all over the South Pacific
at this meet. Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, and some from the South Island including
a phenom in Maddi age group (the 13's) that swam a 1:04 100 LCM fly and 1:05 100 LCM back (both were records, but she is from Christchurch).
Maddi placed 3rd in the 200 back and 4th in the 100 back. She finalled (top 8) in 5 events. It was a prelim/final meet. She had 8 out of 9 personal best times. She has National Age Group qualifying times in 3 events and is very close in 3 other events. Here are her times with SCY conversion curosity of her mother.
