Maddi, Andy, Ella and Danny were in the Christmas play at Devonport church.
Of course, Maddi was Mary (second time - she was two years ago in Windsor as well),
Andy was the old dog, Ella was the mouse, and Danny was the "tired" donkey (very appropriate!). After the play, we all went down to the village square to watch the parade. It was great only lasted 15 minutes, unlike the Harvest Festival which usually last 2 hours!
A video of the play is below:
Next up, Maddi has Auckland Championships next weekend and is already out of school for 6 weeks! Andy went on an overnight camping trip at school, but doesn't get out of school til next thursday. Sue has one more week of teaching lessons, and Ella one more week of Care-Alot then the whole crew is home til January 27th if you can believe that.
Sue is going to start coaching NorthShore when we get back from the South Island, and Maddi is moving up to the Youth Target Squad where she is going to swim for Ian Cameron (the former olympic coach for South Africa). She is really excited about moving up!
Cheers,
the Evans Fam
