Hi Family and Friends,
Danny will have some more pictures of our amazing weekend away with Margie and Clark posted on the blogsite soon. We left Friday and returned Monday evening in time for Maddi's afternoon workout. We went to Lake Taupo. Margie and Clark had a time share there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the time. New Zealand is so unbeliavably gorgeous. I am in awe of God's beauty. We spent time swimming in pools similiar to Glenwood Hotsprings. We went to a place that reminds me of Yellowstone. It was so good for our family to get away from school, work, swimming, and home to spend time with Margie and Clark, and a new part of this coutry. Our family is fighting, bonding, and just plain having fun. At the resort we stayed at they had a ping pong table. I need to say no more!!! I won (just kidding).

Maddi
School, swimming, eating, homework, jumping on the tramp, singing, and sleeping. She so enjoyed the break ,and told me she is so glad to have Grandma and Grandpa here to visit. They are so easy to have, and just love our kids. Maddi loves her swim friends and is in constant contact with them via TEXT (at nauseum)!!! She had a swim meet, and man the girl is getting fast. For My family of swimmers update on her times. 500free 5:46, 100 back 1:06, 200 back has yet to swim it this weekend, 100 free she broke the big 1:00. Sorry everyone but when you come from a family of swimmers I get in trouble when I do not attach times. We were having lunch on our trip and Andy asked her if she could go home with Grandma and Grandpa would she go? She said no!! She is adjusting and liking it more.
Andy
Andy would go home with Grandma and Grandpa, because he misses Spencer and our neighborhood still. My assesment is he is liking it here more than he wants to admit. He has boys coming over to play now a lot and is liking school a little bit more. He made a basketball team he had to try out for, and he is very happy about that. I was approached by his principal last week. He told me Andy is hanging out with a boy that he would classify as "trouble". He told me to talk to Andy about this boy and steer him in another direction. As all of you know me I handled that one with grace and style. NO!!!!! I sat him down and laid down the law. Danny came in and between the both of us we had a great discussion and Andy admitted that this boy was tough, but has a heart deep inside, and that he would steer away, but not entirely. We are satisfied and plan to keep close tabs. Who said parenting was easy holy cow! Andy can hardly wait to go boogie boarding and wants us to buy him drums or a guitar. We will see.
Ella
She is so happy now. She loves school (I am not kidding). Margie and Clark went with me to pick her up the other day, and she was all smiles and happy. Oh I am so grateful. She wears dresses and sings and loves Barbie (oh help me now)! Her other passion is flowers. Pink is her favorite color and when she sings she sings just like Maddi with tune, and it is so good. Please forgive me bragging on my kids, but you guys I am all the way around the world, and have very few people to talk to, so you guys just need to take it, and try not to throw up!!!!! Danny and I are doing better. Danny's job is slowly getting better, and he is loving swimming in the ocean. I was asked to coach on North shore swim team. Not Maddi's team, but the equivalent to FAST's High school team. This is for the swimmers that do other sports, but love to swim, but can not commit to all the practices. I am so excited to coach this group. I also teach swim lessons on Saturdays. Please keep in contact with us we love to hear from you.
Love, Sue
